The Republican Ledger seal: an eagle over an open ledger and quill

Established 2026 · Washington, D.C.

THE REPUBLICAN LEDGER

Veritas · Libertas · Prosperitas. An American conservative daily, written by our own newsroom, published continuously as the news breaks.

Our Mission

The Republican Ledger exists to give conservative Americans a daily newspaper that takes their concerns seriously and their intelligence for granted. We read the country's leading right-of-center newsrooms every few minutes, gather what they have reported, and write one clear, detailed account of each story in our own voice.

We do not run wire copy under our name and we do not pretend a press release is a news report. Every article on this site is written in our newsroom, credited to The Republican Ledger, and built from what reporters in the field have actually established.

Our promise to the reader is simple: facts first, opinion labeled, corrections published, and no story softened because the truth is inconvenient to either party.

What We Stand For

Limited Government

Power belongs closest to the people who feel its weight. We cover Washington with the assumption that every new program, agency and mandate must justify itself to the taxpayer paying for it.

Fiscal Dignity

Debt is a moral question, not an accounting one. Our economy desk follows the money — budgets, deficits, regulation and the price of groceries — and reports what the numbers actually say.

Faith, Family, Freedom

The institutions that raise citizens deserve serious coverage rather than sneering. We report on the communities, churches and families that hold the country together.

A Strong America

Peace comes from strength. We cover the border, the armed forces and American interests abroad plainly, without apologizing for the country we live in.

About the Newsroom

The Ledger is a digital daily with no print edition and no paywall. The front page refreshes around the clock, weather for twelve major American cities updates continuously, and readers are free to argue with us — and with each other — in the comments under every article.

Corrections are made in the open. If we get something wrong, write to the editors and the record will be fixed on the same page where the error appeared.
