Texas Democrat James Talarico says he's running for Senate to make "the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share of taxes." And yet, one week after launching his campaign, he quietly formed an LLC whose registered agent is a high-profile Austin accountant known for helping the wealthy "escape" taxes. Talarico could use the arrangement to lower the tax burden on the advance and royalty payments he will receive as a part of a book deal with the publishing giant HarperCollins he signed in March.
